Declaration of the Jews of the Włodzimierz poviat against the trustee of the Volhyn land

Icko Oszer Lejbowicz and Berko Aronowicz, on behalf of the elders of the Włodzimierz poviat and kahal, declare against Lejba Szmojłowicz, the rabbi of Krzemieniec and marshal and trustee of Volhyn, who did not arrive at the Jewish council in Tartaków on the appointed date and instead of dividing the amount of 60,000 zlotys owed to the Crown treasury for individual communities of the Volhyn land, he demanded the repayment of the wyderkauf debt owed.
